Pregnant Afghan Woman Killed for Possibly Commiting Adultery

The Taliban publicly flogged and then executed a pregnant Afghan widow by emptying three shots into her head for alleged adultery, police said on Monday.
Bibi Sanubar, 35, was kept in captivity for three days before she was shot dead in a public trial on Sunday by a local Taliban commander in the Qadis district of the rural western province Badghis.

The Taliban accused Sanubar of having an "illicit affair" that left her pregnant. She was first punished with 200 lashes in public before being shot, deputy provincial police chief Ghulam Mohammad Sayeedi said.

"She was shot in the head in public while she was still pregnant," Sayeedi said.

The execution is a grim reminder of the Taliban's harsh six-year rule from 1996 to 2001 in Afghanistan. The radical Islamists staged public stonings or lashings of those found to have committed adultery or sex outside marriage.

The then-Taliban government would also chop off the hands and feet of those accused of theft and robbery.

  1. "Yahushua went unto the mount of Olives. And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them. And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Yahushua stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Yahushua was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Yahushua had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Sir. And Yahushua said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more." (John 8:1-11)

This is what Yahushua tells us, yet these people take justice into their own hands. First off they don't even have proof that she did what she was accused of. Secondly, where is the man that was supposedly involved, why was he not beaten and shot as well? Thirdly, they also killed an innocent baby, that had no say in the matter. They are evil murderers, and in the end they will be punished by Yahushua. "For vengeance is mine sayeth Yahuwah, I will repay." (Hebrews 10:30) They may not have a conscience right now, but in the end they will, for Yahuwah will reign down a fiery judgment upon their heads. They will burn in the lake of fire for the evil they have done. Unless they repent and turn from their wicked ways. I pray for this woman's family, and all women who have to live and die due to the evil that exist there. These people think they are doing Yahuwah a favor, but they are not. They are as I stated earlier, taking vengeance themselves, even when someone may actually be innocent. They are murdering people and that also is a commandment they are breaking. Thou shalt not commit murder. Shame on them.
