Beautiful Winter: Why do you have thorns like a rose?

Shalom Everyone,

The cold weather has made it to Texas. So has the colds that come with it. My throat has been so sore today. My ears have been hurting as well, not to mention aching ears, and watery eyes. I've also had bad head and nasal congestion. I love the cold weather, but why must it come with colds as well? Well onto other things, I will be posting my first two outfits soon. I also need to get pics from the Missouri trip posted. One of my outfits I referred to though, I made myself. I use to be terrible at sewing ( I sew by hand, because I fear sewing machines!), but I've finely gotten to were the things I make fit right. They don't look professional, but that doesn't matter. This was just some alterations though. I'll tell you more about the alterations when I post photos of the outfit. I also found an awesome belt at Ross this evening that was only $2.00! I found one skirt as well, but they're selection wasn't very tob this time. They had less than 20 skirts and most of them were minis. I found one other I liked, but it was way to big. I also found this cute little shot glass at Bed,Bath, & Beyond. They made it similar to a measuring cup. I try my best not to splurge on things like that, but the last two shot glasses I had broke when the shot glass shelf fell. I know it's a weird thing to collect, but then a lot of things I like are a tad on the weird side. One is that I eat Nesquik Powder plain. What's your weirdest like or habit? I also found these awesome candles that have wooden wicks. Isn't that just so awesome?!! Now, did y'all have a tob Shabbat? I sure hope so! I'm sorry I didn't do a Shabbat Shalom post, but like I said, I haven't felt tob today. I sure hope none of y'all are sick. Well, Blessings to Y'all,
